Bishop David Konderla announces second part of new priest assignments

Effective August 1, 2019, the Most Rev. David A. Konderla, Bishop of the Diocese of Tulsa & Eastern Oklahoma, has made the following priest assignments:
 
Fr. Samuel Pérez: from Associate Pastor at St. Benedict Parish in Broken Arrow to Pastor of Sacred Heart in Miami. He will continue his role at the Diocesan Tribunal;
 
Fr. Leonard Higgins: from Pastor of St. John in McAlester to Pastor of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Dewey and St. Catherine in Nowata;
 
Fr. Gary Kastl: Rector of Holy Family Cathedral in addition to his duties at Bishop Kelley High School.
 
Fr. Carl Kerkemeyer: from Pastor of Sacred Heart Parish in Miami to Pastor of St. William in Durant and St. Patrick in Atoka;
 
Fr. Valerian Gonsalves: from Pastor of St. William in Durant and St. Patrick in Atoka to Pastor of St. Elizabeth in Grove;
 
Fr. Jovita Okonkwo: from Rector of Holy Family Cathedral to Pastor of St. John in McAlester and Vicar Forane for the Southern Vicariate;
 
Fr. Hrudaya Raj Gade: Pastor of Holy Trinity in Clayton, Sacred Heart in Wilburton, and St. Catherine of Siena in Talihina;
 
Fr. Bala Jayanna Yaddanapalli: Associate Pastor of St. Henry Parish in Owasso;

Fr. Khiet Nguyen: from Pastor of Sacred Heart Parish in Wilburton to Full Time Prison Ministry and will continue his role at the Diocesan Tribunal;
 
Fr. Ken Harder: Pastoral Associate at St. Thomas More to serve the English-speaking community and will continue with his role at the Diocesan Tribunal and Prison Ministry;
 

II.        Vicars Forane & the Vicariates
 
Effective August 1, 2019, the Most Rev. David A. Konderla, Bishop of Tulsa & Eastern Oklahoma, has reestablished vicariates in the Diocese according to the following list and named the following priests to serve as the respective Vicars Forane in addition to their present duties:
