Bishop David Konderla announces 2018 priest appointments

Most Rev. David A. Konderla, Bishop of Tulsa, has made the following priests appointments to take effect on July 2nd, 2018.

Most Rev. David A. Konderla, Bishop of Tulsa, has made the following priests appointments to take effect on July 2 ^nd, 2018.

1. Fr. Matt Gerlach, currently Pastor of St. Pius X, to be the Pastor of St. Anne in Broken Arrow.
2. Fr. José M. Briones, currently Associate Pastor of St. Thomas More, to be the Pastor of St. Thomas More in Tulsa.
3. Fr. Bryan Brooks, currently Pastor of The Church of Madalene and Vicar for Priests, to be the Pastor of St. Benedict in Broken Arrow, in addition to his duties as Vicar for Priests.
4. Fr. Richard Bradley, currently Pastor of St. Catherine, to be the Pastor of St. Pius X.
5. Fr. Desmond Okpogba, currently Pastor of St. Francis Xavier in Sallisaw, St. Joseph in Webbers Falls, St. Kateri Tekakwitha in Roland, and St. John the Evangelist in Cookson, to be the Pastor of The Church of Madalene in Tulsa.
6. Fr. Lawrence Nwachukwu, currently Associate Pastor of St. John the Evangelist University Center in Stillwater, to be the Pastor of St. Francis Xavier in Sallisaw, St. Joseph in Webbers Falls, St. Kateri Tekakwitha in Roland, and St. John the Evangelist in Cookson.
7. Fr. John Grant, currently Associate Pastor of Holy Family Cathedral and Diocesan Director of Divine Worship, to be the Pastor of St. Catherine in Tulsa and St. Joseph in Bristow in addition to his duties as Director of Divine Worship.
8. Fr. Tam Nguyen, currently Parochial Administrator of St. Elizabeth in Grove, to be the Pastor of St. Elizabeth in Grove.
9. Fr. Kingsley George-Obilonu, currently Parochial Administrator of St. Paul in Eufaula and St. Joseph in Krebs, to be the Pastor of St. Paul in Eufaula and St. Joseph in Krebs.
10. Fr. Juan A. Grajeda will serve as Youth Coordinator in the Hispanic Apostolate Office, in addition to his duties as Associate Pastor at St. John before the Latin Gate in Bartlesville.

12. Fr. Samuel Pérez will be in a Sabbatical experience for one semester. He will return to serve full time at the Diocesan Tribunal.
15. Fr. Bryan Ketterer will be released from his chaplaincy at BKHS.
16. After their priestly ordination on June 30 ^th, 2018, Dcn. Vince Fernandez will serve for the summer at Holy Family Cathedral and Dcn. Robert Duck at St. Francis Xavier in Stillwater.
