The Diocese of Tulsa and Eastern Oklahoma is happy to announce it has entered into an agreement with Catholic Answers to provide our parishes greater support in catechesis and evangelization. Starting July 1, 2023, Catholic Answers Apologist Karlo Broussard will be in our Diocese, offering his services to the parishes part-time. This will be the first formal partnership between a diocese and Catholic Answers to offer apologetical, catechetical, and evangelization training to the faithful.
“Catholic Answers has a reputation for some of the best Catholic apologists in the United States. We are excited to have Karlo in our Diocese to equip the laity better so that they can share with others that Jesus is Lord,” said Bishop David Konderla, the Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Tulsa.
“We will miss Karlo very much, but I could not be happier for him as well as his wife, Jacqueline, and the entire Broussard clan,” said Catholic Answers President Christopher Check. “And I am overjoyed that Catholic Answers has been able to partner in this way with a diocese where a true renaissance of spiritual, cultural, and intellectual life is well underway. The faithful of Tulsa are blessed with a true shepherd in Bishop Konderla.”
While Karlo will continue his radio, speaking, articles, and podcasts work at Catholic Answers, he will also be making himself available to the pastors, not by implementing a set diocesan program, but by offering his services based on what the pastors determine is needed for their flock.
“We are delighted to have Karlo in our Diocese,” said Dcn. Harrison Garlick, Chancellor and InHouse Council for the Diocese of Tulsa and Eastern Oklahoma. “We are honored to have this partnership with Catholic Answers and look forward to a successful relationship.”
