Eucharistic Missionaries are Catholics who love the Eucharist and want to share it with others. They will receive special support in spreading devotion to the Blessed Sacrament in parishes throughout the diocese as part of the Eucharistic Revival.

Charles & Sheila Michie from Tulsa have been married 43 years and are blessed with beloved children and grandchildren. They love serving the Church in marriage ministry, jail ministry, charismatic renewal, and for the Order of the Holy Sepulchre and are experienced with discipling, leadership development, teaching, and mentoring. They treasure Holy Communion and Eucharistic Adoration and look forward to serving as Eucharistic missionaries and encountering Christ in people across our diocese.
George Erbacher is originally from Poseyville IN. He and his wife and 4 children moved to Tulsa in 1988. George studied with the Capuchin Franciscan Friars for five years, however eventually he became an Interventional and Diagnostic radiologist. In retirement he feels called to be a missionary disciple.
Stan Starts was raised in Tulsa and attended St. Peter & Paul. In 1975 he moved to Grand Lake in Grove and began teaching at Jay High School for the next 45 years. He became active in a number of roles in his Church. He is currently teaching CCD to Middle School Students.
Sherry Foutz was born and raised in Oklahoma and resides in Tulsa. She has two adult daughters and two grandchildren. She has worked with RCIA teams for 30 years and is always inspired by the candidates and catechumens’ excitement about learning the Catholic faith and their joy and emotions at the Easter Vigil.
John and Julie Story were married 42 years ago at St. Pius X church in Tulsa. Early in their marriage, Eucharistic Adoration became a foundational part in their Catholic identity. From it their lives together have been blessed and their daily walk with the Lord Jesus Christ is much stronger. They look forward to sharing about praying to God in Eucharistic Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament.
Shonna Fletcher, mother of three, is the Chief Operations Officer of her family's resistance welding manufacturing business. She is also secretary and Director of Religious Education for St. Elizabeth's Parish in Grove where she instructs grades 9-12 alongside her husband, who teaches grades 5 and 6. She most enjoys spending time with her family, their spoiled-rotten rescue dogs, two judgmental house cats, and a sassy flock of chickens.
Kathy Othouse was born in NY but moved to Tulsa in 1980 with her husband and 3 kids. Now she has 8 beautiful grandkids. Upon joining St Anne’s, she helped start the St. Vincent de Paul Society which was later changed to Ministry Of Compassion. She retired 2020 and helps in the St Anne’s office when needed. Currently a widow she loves to read, travel, and spoil her grandkids.
Gail Hobbs, a native of Miami, Florida moved to Oklahoma 30 years ago. She is the mother of four grown sons, and has seven grandchildren. She works for the Diocese of Tulsa as an administrative assistant to the chancellor and is involved with the Cursillo movement in the diocese. She coordinates the adoration program at St. Anne's church in Broken Arrow and in her spare time loves to travel and gardening.
Debbie Durkee is a realtor and a parishioner at the Church of Saint Mary in Tulsa, where she is a choir member and a Catechist of the Good Shepherd. Debbie has been a member of the Ascension St. John Perpetual Adoration Community since 2004. She holds a Masters in Library Science and a Masters in Divinity and became a Roman Catholic in 2000.
