The Parish of Christ the King cordially invites you to an interactive afternoon with renowned Catholic theologian and one of America’s leading public intellectuals, Mr. George Weigel, on Sunday February 9 from 3:30 pm to 5 pm. He will tell the inspiring story of how Blessed John Paul II awakened the faith of the Polish people to transform society and overcome decades of oppression. Attendees are sure to leave with a deeper appreciation from Blessed John Paul II and how Catholic teaching continues to impact the world in profound ways.
Following the talk the parish will host a reception in Fletcher Hall. You are invited to stop by and meet Mr. Weigel. Also three of Mr. Weigel’s books will be available for purchase and signing.
