IMMACULATE CONCEPTION

Today is the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It is one of the Holy Days of Obligation in the Catholic Church. It is the Catholic belief that Mary was conceived in her mother's womb without the stain of original sin, keeping her immaculate. God chose her, even before her parents knew they were expecting her, to be the Mother of Our Lord. All Diocese of Tulsa Catholic Schools provides the opportunity for students to fulfill their obligation in attending Mass. All are welcome to join the school Masses.
