Come and See…
Join single Catholic men and women from across Oklahoma for a “Life Awareness” weekend retreat. Dynamic presentations, group discussions and prayer comprise a schedule full of opportunities for you to learn the steps and skill necessary to discover the “right path” for your life.
God created each of us to live a particular vocation. A Life Awareness retreat is designed to help you learn how to listen, discover and follow the plan that God has for you, whatever that may be: ordained, married, religious or single.
In particular, the retreat will give you a chance to explore the joy, rewards, and the obligations that accompany a vocation of priesthood or religious life. If you have ever considered such a possibility, here is your chance to find out what it’s like to live out this dynamic vocation, a chance to ponder whether this might be God’s path for you!
The program does not pressure anyone or ask for any future commitment. It
is simply designed to help you make a more intelligent choice of your vocation, whatever that may be.
A Time and Place to Clarify Your Calling in Life...
The retreat begins on Friday evening at 6:00 p.m. at St. Philip Neri Catholic Newman Center on the campus of The University of Tulsa and concludes around 1:00 p.m. on Sunday following a closing Mass and lunch.
All conference activities and meals will occur in the Newman Center facilities. Participants will remain on the campus in housing provided by The University of Tulsa.
Due to the generosity of the Serra Club of Tulsa, there is NO FEE for attending the weekend. However, in order to plan meals and housing, participants are asked to register for the event by June 5th.
