In 1996, seven French Trappist monks were martyred in Algeria. They had chosen to remain with the Muslim people their monastery had ministered to for nearly sixty years. In 2011, an award winning picture, Of Gods and Men, accurately portrayed their lives, their ministry and the difficult decision they made not to leave their monastic home knowing that it might result in their deaths. This course tells their story. Scenes from Of Gods and Men will be shown.
