Like the other German mystics of the 14th century, Tauler was a Dominican. But whereas Eckhart is more often remembered for his abstract and systematic treatises, it is Tauler who is remembered for his sermons, which are numbered among the most inspiring ever produced in the Middle Age. This class will provide an introduction to his sermons.
