The Diocese of Tulsa and Eastern Oklahoma is committed to building up the Body of Christ by promoting an authentic, Catholic vision of marriage, human sexuality, and family life. We proclaim that human life is a precious gift from God and seek to protect and nuture all human life from conception to natural death. The Office of Marriage and Family Life provides programs to support the work of all Catholics to promote marriage, family, and the sanctity of life.Diocesan-sponsored marriage preparation, marriage enrichment and Natural Family Planning courses reflect the Catholic vision of marraige and family life. Each year we also celebrate marriages of 25, 40, 50 and 50+ years at a special Anniversary Mass.
Catholic Engaged Encounter of Tulsa and Catholic Marriage Prep.com are two avenues of marriage preparation that are highly recommended by the Diocese.
Our pro-life activities in the Diocese include an annual pilgrimage to Washington D.C. to pariticptae in the National March for Life, the annual 40 Days for Life campaign with year round activiies at the Garden of Hope. We are looking for new, effictive ways of sharing Christ's pro-life message with the men and women of our Diocese. Those who are passionate about the pro-life cause are encouranged to contact us and get involved.
