From Bishop Konderla: In agreement with the efforts of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and in solidarity with those who suffer, I ask that pastors please take up a second collection to help bring charity and aid to those affected by Hurricane Harvey. Please see the following communication from the USCCB, which can be used for bulletin announcements, social media, and other communications. Given the urgency of the situation, pastors should postpone the Catholic University collection until the following weekend.

Reverend Alex Kennedy passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Aug. 18, 2017. He was the pastor of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Grove, Oklahoma. The Rosary and Visitation for Father Kennedy will be at Holy Family Cathedral, 122 W. 8th St., Tulsa on Friday, Aug. 25 at 7 p.m. The funeral Mass will be at Holy Family Cathedral on Saturday, Aug. 26 at 11 a.m.

Father Alex Kennedy, the pastor of St. Elizabeth parish in Grove, has unexpectedly passed away. His funeral arrangements are pending.
