Deacon Roy Callison and Susan Callison with the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City American Indian Outreach Office will host a Listening Session on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fairfax, Oklahoma following the 9 am Mass. The session will be held in the parish hall and is open to the public, as a forum for people to discuss their experiences in former Catholic Indian boarding schools in Oklahoma.

A prayer vigil is planned for Thursday, October 28, at 3 pm, outside the Oklahoma State Penitentiary in McAlester for John M. Grant, who is scheduled to be executed at 4 pm. Prayers will be offered for Gay Carter, whom Grant was convicted of murdering in 1998, as well as for Grant and the corrections officers taking part in the execution. The vigil will conclude when word is received that the sentence has been carried out.

The Diocese of Tulsa and Eastern Oklahoma 40 Days for Life campaign is still ongoing at the Garden of Hope, through October 31, 2021. With prayer, fasting and holding vigil, we will seek God’s power to heal the scourge of abortion in our city and world. Please help us with prayer and fasting.

The Annual Tulsa Rosary Rally will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 beginning at 8 am at the LaFortune Park Gardens in Tulsa. This is a fun, family prayer event for anyone in the Diocese to pray, learn more about the rosary, get a little exercise and enjoy the scenery at LaFortune Park.
