Bishop David Konderla offers his opinion on the announcement of the historic decision made by the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) on June 24, 2022 regarding Roe v. Wade.

Bishop Konderla will consecrate the Diocese of Tulsa & Eastern Oklahoma to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus on the Feast of Corpus Christi, June 19, 2022, at Holy Family Cathedral as part of the Eucharistic procession.

On Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 7 pm, the Most Reverend David A. Konderla will lead a community prayer service at Holy Family Cathedral for all those affected by the shooting this week at a Saint Francis Hospital building. All are welcome to attend.

The Month of June is dedicated to the Sacred Heart. The Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus on the Friday following the second Sunday after Pentecost. In addition to the liturgical celebration, many devotional exercises are connected with the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Of all devotions, devotion to the Sacred Heart was, and remains, one of the most widespread and popular in the Church.
