Youth Religious Awards
Each organization has a set of religious awards that can be earned by registered youth. Please find your organization below to see their specific awards.
Please notify the Committee by January 1 annually if your youth, den, pack, troop or group is working on an award. The information can be sent by our "Contact Us" option on the sidebar.Awards are presented by the Bishop to the youth and adult recipients at the annual Scouting Awards Mass . Each person receiving an award will be sent a letter with the scheduled date and time. The award recipient's entire family is welcome to attend the awards ceremony, Mass, and reception. -
How to Get Started
- Purchase the workbook appropriate for the age of the youth. See the individual organization for awards, age ranges, and where to purchase the book.
- Find an advisor or group working on the award. Contact the Committee if you need help finding a group.
The work on the awards for the youngest youth can be accomplished with a parent. - Complete the workbook and obtain the required signatures (youth, advisor, and pastor)
- All successful award recipients will receive a letter of congratulations with information about the Scouting Awards Mass.
- Attend the awards Mass to receive your award from the Bishop.
